Many scientists fascinated by the relatively short time between the earth’s formation and the density of the modern day human civilizations, believe that life on earth comes from the accidental connection of the earth’s orbit with the cloud of complex chemicals brewed in some ancient stellar explosion. However, the major argument of anthropology is that one should begin any research into our origins, history as well as destiny bearing in mind the real-world factors of culture, climate, and genetics among others. With the careful study of the shattered fragments of our ancestors, their tools and other material evidence we can at least detect something about our nature and our past. According to Wenke and Olszewski (86), a human being is a unique animal who is different from other life-forms. A traditional view is that we are unique in our ability to manipulate symbols and that the evolution of this ability underlies in all human achievements.
